- Cut short wood and sheets. When the length of the wood is less than 250mm or the thickness of the sheet is less than 20mm, the wood must be pushed with a safety rod or safety push plate to prevent hand injury. Too short wood, should not be cut in the planing bed, the ingredients should be short wood, small wood to be made into a multiplle of long material, large material, cut after cutting to ensure safe operation.
- When cutting wood end surface, wood should be vertically close to the guide ruler, cutting edge must be sharp, cutting depth should be small, feed speed should be slow, in order to prevent the end from cracking. When the wood is too narrow or too long, the end face should not be cut on the planer bed.
